Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia opened discussions with ZBHA Group of China for strong collaboration that will foster economic development in the State.
The Governor wrote on his Facebook wall “Today, I am delighted to announce that the Benue State Government has taken a bold step in promoting economic growth and sustainability through a strategic partnership with ZBHA Group at their Headquarters in Shanghai, China.”
Alia said he believes that the partnership will benefit Benue people guaranteeing equity, infrastructure, human capital development, and knowledge transfer.
“This collaboration focuses on mutual business development, with discussions centered on fostering equity, infrastructure, human capital development, and knowledge transfer for the benefit of the good people of Benue State.
“Our aim is to empower the people of Benue to become active participants in key sectors such as manufacturing, production, and processing. In doing so, we seek to reduce unemployment, enhance the state’s Internally Generated Revenue (IGR), and increase Benue’s contribution to the national GDP,” he noted.
Governor Alia so met with the leadership of Soochow University in Shanghai, a global leader in nuclear medicine and radiation technology.

He was received by the Vice President of the university, Mr. Zhao Jingzhou, who presented a collaboration strategy designed to enhance healthcare services for the good people of Benue State.
“This partnership will introduce cutting-edge medical technology, starting with specialist expertise in advanced radiotherapy equipment and an exchange program,” Governor Alia assured.
