The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has approved the procurement of fertilizers and sprayers for dry-season farming in Abuja. Mandate Secretary of the FCTA Agriculture and Rural Development Secretariat, Malam Lawan Geidam announced this while briefing newsmen after the administration’s Executive Committee meeting on Monday. The meeting was presided over by the Minister Nyesom Wike. Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia has approved a minimum wage of ₦75,000 for workers in the state, fulfilling one of his major campaign promises to prioritize the welfare of the people. The Governor announced this decision in Makurdi,  the State capital after a meeting with representatives of organized labour. Minister of Power Adebayo Adelabu on Monday said that the country needs to establish grids across the regions to insulate the systems from each other if power stability must be achieved.
