FG launches live Tracker App for Nigerians to monitor, report performance of officials
The Federal Government has launched a Delivery Tracker App for every Nigerian to monitor the performance of ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs) and officials, using key performance indicators (KPIs) and set deliverables. The government said the areas citizens can monitor and report the officials are the eight priority areas of President Bola Tinubu’s agenda for boosting the economy and improving lives. Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, Tuesday called on the Federal Government to rid the State of banditry to end cases of kidnapping in northern parts of the country. Governor Lawal stated this while briefing State House Correspondents on his meeting with President Bola Tinubu, at the presidential villa Abuja. President Bola Tinubu on Monday approved the establishment of a Renewed Hope Infrastructure Fund, designed to aggressively address the huge infrastructure deficit in the country. Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has requested the Senate to approve a security vote for the office of tbe Minister to enhance the administration tackle the security challenges in the nation’s capital. President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of a Head of Service, and Permanent Secretaries in the nine Secretariats of the Federal Capital Territory Administration, (FCTA). The appointments come with other members of the FCT Civil Service Commission signalling the full implemwntation of the reforms of the administrative structure of the territory. Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike Monday said that the administration. will soon appoint nine Permanent Secretaries to fill up its nine Secretariats, signalling the commencement of the newly established FCT Civil Service Commission. The Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Dr. Zacch Adedeji urged lawmakers to support the harmonisation of the federal government’s revenue collection system.
