Tinubu’s emergence as APC flag bearer excites Benue Guber aspirant Kuraun

A gubernatorial aspirant from Benue State running on the All Progressives Congress platform  Dr. Jeffrey Kuraun on Monday extended congratulations to President Bola Tinubu on after the President secured the party’s presidential nomination for the 2027 general election.

In a brief statement, Kuraun said Tinubu’s victory at the APC primaries “reflects the confidence party members and Nigerians have in his leadership and reform agenda,” projecting the result as an endorsement of the president’s policy direction.

Kuraun described Tinubu’s victory at the APC presidential primaries as “a reflection of the confidence party members and Nigerians have in his leadership and reform agenda”.

He said the outcome of the primary election demonstrated that internal democracy remained active within the ruling party, noting that the transparent and peaceful conduct of the exercise strengthened the credibility of the APC.

Kuraun stated that “Tinubu’s emergence confirmed his acceptance across the country” and expressed confidence that “a second term would consolidate ongoing economic reforms, infrastructure development, food security initiatives and democratic consolidation”.

The governorship aspirant also commended the administration’s policies in education financing, fiscal reforms and national development, saying they had continued to inspire hope among Nigerians.

According to him, the President’s achievements in the last three years showed commitment to repositioning the country for sustainable growth and prosperity under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

Kuraun prayed for greater wisdom and strength for the President as he continues to lead the nation and the ruling party ahead of the 2027 elections.
