Wife of the Secretary to the Ondo State Government (SSG), Mrs. Kemi Fasoranti recently attended a retirement ceremony at the Presidential Villa in Abuja alongside several honoured staff members.

The event held on  December 16, 2025, marked the start of an annual tradition to honour retiring workers.

Mrs. Fasoranti represented her husband, Dr. Taiwo who retired from the service of the State House Medical Centre in 2024, having served as a senior Physician since 2010 rising to the rank of Director.

The Obafemi Awolowo University-trained medical expert is the son of Pa Reuben Fasoranti, a prominent Pan-Yoruba socio-political leader, and serves as the current SSG in Ondo State.

Permanent Secretary of the State House, Temitope Fashedemi who hailed the retiring staff of the Presidency at the ceremony, said their ‘years of quiet service still count’ and will be formally celebrated every year going forward.

“Your service is valuable. Don’t be a stranger to us, reach out to your colleagues here whenever necessary,” the Permanemt Secretary said.
