Newly appointed Commissioner of Police (CP), in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Ahmed Sanusi has issued a brutal warning to criminals: pack your bags and scarper—or face the full force of the law.

Commissioner Sanusi, fresh in the hot seat in Abuja, swore on Wednesday that no villain will thrive on his watch.

“Crime does not thrive where I serve,” the ‘hardman’ declared at his first press press conference.

“During my tenure, crime will have no place in the FCT,” he stressed.

Vowing an intelligence-led approach, Commiasioner Sanusi promised to hunt down every lowlife, drag them from hiding and slam them behind bars.

“We’ll be proactive, professional and relentless,” he roared.

“No stone unturned—criminals will be identified, pursued and flushed out.”

To hoodlums lurking in the shadows: “Abuja’s no safe haven anymore. Desist, pack up and exit—or brace for the full weight of the law.”

Sanusi warned his own cops: ditch the bad behaviour or else. “Stay civil, uphold standards—or else.”

He begged locals to grass up the bad guys: “Security’s on all of us. My door’s open—spill the beans and let’s smash crime together.”

His posting came from the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Olatunji Disu recently deployment of senior officers across the country with Commissaioner Sanusi taking FCT reins alongside other big shakes like CP Olatunji Fatai in Lagos and CP Morkwap Dongshal in Taraba.
