Osun First Lady, Ngozi receives  award of excellence

Wife of the Osun State governor Erule Ngozi Adeleke has been conferred with an award of excellence for her dedication and service to humanity across ethnic and cultural boundaries. 

The First Lady in reaction to the honour said that the *AWARD OF EXCELLENCE,” is a motivation that will spur her to do more as she continue to support the governor, her dear husband to deliver on good governance to the people of Osun State. 

The award was bestowed on the Osun State First Lady at the 2023 Oodua Special Recognition Awards ceremony. 

“First and foremost, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to my father, *His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi CFR, Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife*, for this special recognition. His leadership and commitment to humanity inspire me greatly.

“I would also like to express my appreciation to my dear friend and sister, *Her Imperial Majesty, Olori Aderonke Ademiluyi-Ogunwusi, the wife of the Ooni of Ife, for her gracious presence during the award ceremony,” Mrs. Adeleke said. 

The First Lady also extended appreciation to Princess Monserrat Egbedun, the wife of the Honourable Speaker, Osun State House of Assembly and all the Spouses of OSHA members, wives of Osun Commissioners and wives of Local government chairmen. I am grateful to Team OSRA, led by Mr. Gbenga Adeleke and my dedicated team for their exceptional contributions.

“My actions are driven by a sense of duty to God and humanity. I consider myself an instrument for positive change not only in Osun State but for all of mankind. What I have accomplished so far is just the beginning, a tip of the iceberg with more to come. I encourage everyone to stay tuned for further developments.”

She dedicated the award to her husband, governor Adeleke, who she said is her source of inspiration and support.
