President Bola Tinubu arrived at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in the early hours of Monday, touching down at 12:18 a.m. local time for the Africa Forward Summit.

Kenya’s Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, Musalia Mudavadi, High Commissioner to Nigeria Isaac Parashina, and senior Kenyan officials greeted President Tinubu, along with staff his officials on the diplomatic mission.

Co-hosted by Kenyan President William Ruto and French President Emmanuel Macron, the summit convenes African Heads of State, policymakers, business leaders, and development partners to chart paths for economic transformation, trade growth, digital innovation, infrastructure, climate resilience, and shared prosperity.

Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to the President Bayo Onanuga in a statement said Tinubu’s attendance signals Nigeria’s drive for deeper regional economic ties and sustainable development, aligning with his administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
