A group of more than 50 editors and reporters will convene this weekend for the South‑East leg of a national media inspection tour organized by the Renewed Hope Ambassadors in partnership with the Presidential Media Team.
Director of Media and Publicity of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors Tunde Rahman in a statement said
the five‑day tour, which begins in Ebonyi State on Saturday, June 13, will visit legacy and ongoing projects across Ebonyi, Enugu, Anambra, Abia and Imo states before concluding in Imo on June 17.
According to him, the itinerary includes site inspections, stakeholder meetings, press briefings and roundtable discussions intended to highlight the President Tinubu administration’s development priorities under its Renewed Hope agenda.
“The tour offers a platform for firsthand reporting and for strengthening ties between government and the press,” he said.
The statement described the exercise as an opportunity to showcase the impact of federal policies and programmes at the state level.
The South‑East engagement follows an earlier trip to the North‑West, where more than 70 editors and officials toured federal interventions including sections of the Kaduna–Kano–Katsina–Maradi rail corridor, elements of the Sokoto–Badagry highway in Kebbi, the Abuja–Kaduna–Kano highway, the Kaduna western bypass, irrigation works in Jigawa and ecological projects in Kano’s Wujuwuju‑Jakara area.
