Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Nyesom Wike has appointed Alhaji Onsachi Musa Idris as Senior Special Assistant on procurement, effective immediately.

Idris,  a civil servant with more than three decades in administration, finance, and public procurement, retired from the FCT Administration on Thursday after serving as its procurement Director since July 2021.

He had risen to Director of common services (procurement) in August 2019.

Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication to the Miniater Lere Olayinka in a statement said Wike hailed Idris as a “seasoned public servant” whose oversight ensured regulatory compliance and bolstered institutional efficiency.
