Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has welcomed three House of Representatives members who left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to join the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Governor was at the Green Chambers of the National Assembly, where he received the lawmakers representing Kaduna State and expressed confidence in the success of his leadership in ‘The Centre of Learning’ State.
Governor Sani wrote on his official Facebook handle and said, “Today, at the hallowed Green Chamber of the National Assembly, I had the distinct honor of formally welcoming three Honourable Members of the House of Representatives from Kaduna State, who have chosen to realign their political allegiance from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).”
According to the Governor, the decision of the three Lawmakers to join the ruling APC reflects a profound recognition of the inclusive, people-centered governance that the administration has steadfastly pursued in Kaduna State.
“Moreover, it underscores their confidence in the visionary Renewed Hope Agenda articulated by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, which continues to inspire transformative leadership across our nation.
“On behalf of the APC’s leadership and membership, I extend a heartfelt welcome to Hon. Abdulkareem Ahmed (Kaduna South), Hon. Aliyu Abdullahi (Ikara/Kubau), and Hon. Sadiq Ango Abdullahi (Sabon Gari). We pledge our unwavering support as they seamlessly integrate into our progressive family,” Governor Sani noted.
He added that “I also take this opportunity to express profound gratitude to our loyal party faithful throughout Kaduna for their unwavering dedication and resilience.
I call upon all members to remain united in purpose, uphold the core values of the APC, and collaborate diligently to foster sustainable development and prosperity for our beloved state and its people Together, we are building a brighter future.”
