The management of the Benue State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), has approved the appointment of 23 new Local Government Education Area (LGEA) Education Secretaries in the State.
A statement by the information officer of SUBEB Akese Emanuella said the newly appointed Secretaries whose appointments take immediate effect include; Mathew Oda Okore (ADO), Iyeluma Ejeh Yahaha (Agatu), Ameh Helen Atoko (Apa), Chia Elizabeth Kumapunen (Buruku), Chia Samuel (Gboko), Jacob Aondoade Ukaha (Guma), and Adev Jeremiah (Gwer East).

Others are Ajebe Tyolumun Vincent (Gwer West), Kumbur Racheal (Katsina-Ala), Ngule Wergba (Komahisha), Igbanongo Tersoo Felix (Kwande), Tyogema Cecillia (Logo), Kwaghbo Aondoakaa (Makurdi), Agbo Peter Edor (Obi), and Anthony Ameh (Ognadibo).
The list of appointees also includes Ameh Emmanuel Ejembi (Ohimini), Micheal Anebi Abakpa (Okpokwu), Ode John Orube (Oju), Udala Ucheme Godwin (Otukpo), Tarka Stella Mwuese (Tarka), Erukaa Joseph Shiqm (Ukum), Utile Nyizaber (Ushongo), and Asen Saawuan James (Vandeikya).
The statement said the newly appointed Education Secretaries are expected to report to SUBEB Headquarters on Tuesday 25th June, 2024 by 10.00 am prompt for an important meeting, screening, and posting.
