The Chief Executive Officer of Belanova Apartments and Suites, a luxury hotel in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, joyfully gave his beloved daughter out in a vibrant traditional marriage on Saturday.

Dr. Louise Ezeigwe, father of bride Alexandra Kelechi Ezeigwe, attracted Nigeria’s crème de la crème to celebrate the event in Abuja.
Bride Kelechi, whose parents come from Umowosha, Umunumo, Ehime in Imo State, married her elegant husband, Chukwuanugo Chukwusomebi Mojekwu, whose family is from Akamili, Umudim, Nnewi in Anambra State.
The groom’s parents are Engineer Ejike and Engineer Louisa Mojekwu, while the bride’s mother is Mnenna Ezeigwe
Dr. Ezeigwe (groom’s father), in his brief remarks and traditional welcome during the presentation of Kola nuts, said the colorful ceremony would have been held in his village if not for reforms in the residency legislation- permitting Nigerians to consider wherever they reside for many years as theirs.
The hotelier expressed great satisfaction with the high attendance at the event.
Guests enjoyed an array of sumptuous traditional and continental dishes in an atmosphere filled with excitement and profound satisfaction.
The traditional marriage ceremony also featured cultural dance performances by the parents and family members of both the bride and groom.
Prominent guests at the ceremony held in one of Abuja’s top event venues included members of the Tennis section of the IBB Golf and Country Club.
NewsQuest reports that the event also featured the celebration of the rich colourful heritage of the Ibos’ culture flanked by attires, drummers , and folklorists.
Chief Dan Ngerem, a successful entrepreneur, presided as chairman of the ceremony, which witnessed exchanges of palm wine, and other special liquor.
