Benue State governor, Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia at the weekend paid an unscheduled visit to the Benue State University Teaching Hospital (BSUTH), where he prayed for patients on admission. The governor during the visit, inspected ongoing projects, renovation works, and upgrade of facilities at the hospital. President Bola Tinubu has appointed Prof.Essie Charles Anosike as substantive Director-General of the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET). Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State has appointed Dr. Grace Adagba as chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) to assist his administration advance major development interventions in the education sector. Chief of staff (CoS), to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila has denied reports in some sections of the media that budgetary allocation have been made in the proposed 2024 appropriation bill for renovation works on his official residence.
