Benue State governor, Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia at the weekend paid an unscheduled visit to the Benue State University Teaching Hospital (BSUTH), where he prayed for patients on admission.
The governor during the visit, inspected ongoing projects, renovation works, and upgrade of facilities at the hospital.
Governor Alia commended the chief medical director of the hospital, Dr. Neanderthal Steven for coordinating such massive works, targeted at improving services.

While wishing the patients quick recovery, the governor advised staff members to show compassion and exercise patience with persons on admission and others visiting the facility and needing medical attention.
Some of ongoing works of the BSUTH, is the reconnection of regular electricity supply which the government says aim at optimal health care service delivery.
