President Bola Tinubu declared Thursday that he won’t be intimidated or scared by opposition political parties as the country gears up for next year’s elections.

The President who stated this when he hosted the Renewed Hope Ambassadors network at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, stressed that his government will remain focused on delivering on the Renewed Hope Agenda with decisive reforms to improve millions of lives.

The Renewed Hope Ambassadors network aims to sell President Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope Agenda” at community level through a unified approach: “One Party, One Message, One Mobilisation Framework”.

Speaking at the event, President Tinubu said, “They (opposition) want to scare me off- its a lie. I have been through this fight before. If I have to come back over and over again, I will do the same thing.”

“If they don’t want to see what we are doing, well will give them (jigibola) ‘eye glasses’. I won’t run away. With you, the deal is done.

“During the primary that brought me here, it was tough. During the election, it was tough- now that I am here…..” the President noted, stressing how prepared he is going into next year’s election.

President Tinubu continued “I am inspired, I am ready. I am grateful to all of you. This is an opportunity of lifetime to break the shackle of poverty, ignorance. To put freedom in the hearts of our people. To ensure democracy survives.

“Not the noise making. Not the rascality of a street convention. We cannot submit to disobedience of a lawful order of the Court.

“We must embrace the judiciary. Whether it favors us or it doesn’t. We must submit to the principle of democracy. Separation of power and understanding of the dynamics of it.

“And the nationhood that Nigeria is. That we must build one country. There’s no other way to the path that we embrace to national greatness. Other than build one nation, one common vision for progress, prosperity, of our people. That’s what we must do. That’s what Renew Hope is all about.

“You must give them that hope. But try as much as possible. Men and women of integrity that are here in this room. To build a Nigeria. You want to scare me off? It’s a lie.  I went through this path before. And if I have to come back over and over and over again, I’ll do the same thing.

“There is no better place than your own country, and no one can build it, except you. We saw great things, we’ve seen skyscrapers, we wonder how the plane takes off and fly out from one destination to the other.

“These are no magic of yesterday. It is the thinker of tomorrow and the future that can elevate life, that can reform us all. And being a transformative leader that you are,  you are in good company,” the President added.
