A member of the House of Representatives representing Ikeja federal constituency, James Faleke, has bought the All Progressives Congress (APC)  presidential nomination forms for President Bola Tinubu, kicking off the president’s bid for re-election in 2027

The forms, costing N100 million, were handed over to Faleke on Tuesday by APC national organising secretary Suleiman Argungu in Abuja.

Faleke, founder of the Tinubu Support Groups, confirmed the purchase as the formal start of President Tinubu’s campaign.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has set the presidential and National Assembly elections for 16 January 2027, with gubernatorial and State Assembly polls to follow on 6 February.
