Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), Nyesom Wike, at the flag-off of the construction of a 5km dual carriageway in Kuje Area Council of the nation’s capital, said that President Bola Tinubu is behind every development he is bringing to Abuja.

The Minister said the Kuje road project was part of efforts to rekindle the hope of the people and reassure them that President Tinubu means well for the people of the FCT.

According to Wike, the FCT administration has been lucky to have the support of the President, who is sparing nothing to ensure that all residents reaped the dividends of democracy, since the FCTA has no excuse not to perform.

“I want to say that Mr. President is fully in support of us and his mandate is very clear to the Hon. Minister of State and my humble self.

“When you people are saying that the Minister of State and my humble self are working, it’s because we have a President who gives us anything we want.

“He has given us the support and so we have no excuses to give but to let the people know that Mr. President is behind everything we are doing,” Wike said.

He continued that, “Every request we have made, Mr. President has always given to us. So, for us, we don’t have any excuse not to do what we are supposed to do.”
