Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has placed farmers at the heart of the state’s development agenda, according to Murtala Dabo, the agriculture commissioner said.

Dabo made the remarks on during the launch of a programme distributing livestock support packages to 5,000 cooperative groups in the State.
“The Governor has demonstrated strong commitment to transforming agriculture into a major driver of economic growth,” Dabo noted.

The Commissioner explained that the administration aims to reposition the sector beyond subsistence farming, turning it into an engine for job creation, wealth generation and sustainable livelihoods.
