Governor Alia on his Facebook wall wrote, “Yesterday, I had the privilege of speaking at the France-Nigeria Business Forum in Paris, where we discussed the critical role of innovation in creating sustainable agricultural systems that can withstand the challenges of climate change, food insecurity, and global economic shifts.
“I was honored to share this platform with visionary leaders from both Nigeria and France, including Abdul Samad Rabiu, Chairman, BUA Group, Mr. John Coumantaros, Chairman, Flour Mills of Nigeria, Dame Dr. Adaora Umeoji, CEO, Zenith Bank, Mr. Emmanuel Marchand, SVP Sustainability, Danone, Mr. Thierry Febvay, Executive Director, Semmaris-Rungis, Mme Adeline Gabillaud, Regional Director, CMA-CGM.”
The Benue State Governor commended the moderator of the panel session Mr. Nicholas Norbrook, for steering the conversation in a way that inspired the need for collaboration between nations and sectors.
“Together, we must continue to push for agricultural innovation that will feed our people, strengthen our economies, and protect our environment. The future of Benue State, Nigeria, and Africa depends on it,” Governor Alia stressed.
