Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Zacch Adedeji on Tuesday paid a courtesy call to the Executive Chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukoyede where he sort for strong partnership.
Adedeji acknowledged the pedigree of the new EFCC chief executive as an erudite lawyer, seasoned public administrator, and anti-corruption czar which testifies his ability to lead the fight against economic crimes in Nigeria frontally.
The FIRS boss also reiterated that the EFCC and the FIRS have a critical role in supporting the reforms and ensuring the desired outcomes of the Renewed Hope Agenda of Mr President.
He said that “As the global community grapples with local and transnational illicit financial flows facilitated by disruptive technological innovation, the importance of collaboration has become even more pertinent’
“The FIRS will need the continued support of the EFCC ,” Adedeji noted.
