President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Policy Communications on Friday marked one year in office since his appointment in November, 2024.

Bwala, a Lawyer, who had formerly worked as the spokesperson for the Atiku Abubakar presidential campaign in 2023, had also been a public affairs analyst before his appointment.

In a brief by the presidential aide made available to NewsQuest, he said “Today marks one year since Mr. President entrusted me with the responsibility of speaking for his administration.

“I remain deeply grateful for his confidence, guidance, and unwavering commitment to Nigeria’s progress.”

According to Bwala, over the past 12 months, his office has worked tirelessly; clarifying policies, countering misinformation, engaging global media, strengthening Nigeria’s image abroad, and amplifying the Renewed Hope agenda across all platforms. Every day has been a lesson in service, duty, and national responsibility.

“Thank you, Mr. President, for the honour. Thank you, Nigerians, for listening. The work continues with even greater resolve,” the presidential spokesman added.
