Keyamo bags NECA award on visible impact in public service delivery

Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr. Festus Keyamo has bagged an award for his exceptional contributions to national development and public service, especially in the aviation sector.

A statement by his  Special Adviser on Media and Communications Tunde Moshood said the award was conferred on the Minister by the Nigerian Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA), the umbrella organization of all employers in the private sector in Nigeria.

The prestigious recognition titled; “Award for Visible Impact in Public Service” was presented at the organization’s annual excellence award celebrating exceptional contributions to national development and public service.

The award, presented at a grand ceremony, recognizes Keyamo’s significant strides in the aviation and aerospace sector since assuming office.

Minister Keyamo is noted to have implemented transformative policies, including enhancing infrastructure, improving operational efficiency, and fostering international partnerships to strengthen Nigeria’s aviation ecosystem.

The award was received on behalf of the Minister by his Special Assistant, Janet Oputa.

In her remarks, she conveyed the Minister’s gratitude to NECA for the recognition and reaffirmed his commitment to driving sustainable growth and innovation in the sector.

“The Honourable Minister is deeply honoured by this recognition and remains resolute in his mission to reposition Nigeria’s aviation industry as a global standard. He dedicates this award to the hardworking teams in the ministry and all stakeholders who share in this vision,” said Oputa.

The audience lauded Keyamo’s achievements, emphasizing the positive impact of his leadership on Nigeria’s aviation and aerospace landscape. His efforts to promote transparency, improve service delivery, and create an enabling environment for stakeholders have not gone unnoticed.

NECA commended Keyamo for his dedication, stating, “This award is a testament to his visible impact and exemplary service to the nation. We hope this recognition will inspire further excellence.”

“This award underscores the Minister’s commitment to redefining aviation and aerospace development in Nigeria, contributing significantly to the nation’s socio-economic advancement,” Moshood said in a statement.
