The South-South Zonal Coordinator of the P-BAT Door-to-Door Movement, Chief Reuben Wilson, has described the group as the most influential support group for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Nigeria, urging Bayelsans to deliver 100 per cent votes for the President in 2027.
Wilson, who spoke in Yenagoa during the movement’s expanded stakeholders’ meeting, implored stakeholders to appreciate the founder and grand patron of the movement, High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, for creating the platform and for his commitment to the development of the Ijaw nation.
“I want all of us to appreciate one man, a man who has the Ijaws at heart, a man who created this avenue for us to gather here, a man who loves development, a man who has done so much, High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, aka Tompolo,” Wilson said.

He noted that various speakers at the event had described the P-BAT Door-to-Door Movement as the most influential support group in the country, stressing that its grand patron is a son of the Niger Delta.
“Various speakers have described the P-BAT Door-to-Door Movement as the most influential support group in Nigeria today, and the grand patron of P-BAT is your own, your son, your brother, your father from this great region.
“So it is indeed worthwhile for us to support the President through the P-BAT Door-to-Door Movement,” he said.
Wilson said Bayelsa State has no reason not to support President Tinubu, citing visible development projects executed through the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, with the support of the President.
“You will agree with me that if you go down to our fishing settlements, you will see light everywhere through the NDDC, he said.
“Light is everywhere, and light is life, done by the NDDC supported by Mr President,” the coordinator added.
“As a reminder, some months ago, Mr President was here to commission various projects. So, Bayelsa, we don’t have any reason not to support Mr President,” he stated.
He explained that the P-BAT Door-to-Door Movement was formed to take the message of the President’s achievements directly to communities, units and wards.
“P-BAT was formed to go to the communities, from door to door, units and wards, telling the people about the good works of Mr President and telling them the reasons why they must vote for Mr President,” Wilson said.
He charged members of the group not to lose their polling units, wards or local government areas, saying any loss would be a dent on the image of Bayelsa.
“Let me tell you, as you are going, you don’t have any reason to lose your polling unit, your ward and local government, because if you do, it will be a slap and a shame on you and Bayelsa if we allow any other political party to win a seat from us.
“The President has done a lot, the NDDC has done a lot, and our God-fearing governor has done a lot. So, let’s give Mr President 100 per cent votes,” he added.
