President Bola Tinubu’s Special Assistant on social media, Olusegun Dada has said that he was honoured to be named director of new media for the All Progressives Congress’s 2027 presidential campaign.
In brief remarks, Dada thanked President Tinubu and senior party officials for the appointment and said he accepted the post “with humility and a clear understanding of the demands of the assignment.”
He pledged to bring “innovation and commitment” to the role as the party prepares for next year’s general election.
“New media has become central to communication, public engagement and participation in public discourse,” Dada said, adding that he looked forward to working with the wider campaign team “to strengthen the party’s digital presence and deepen engagement with Nigerians.”
He said he would give the job “his very best” and prayed for “wisdom, unity, strength and divine guidance” for the campaign, expressing optimism that the effort would “be executed with distinction” and contribute to the APC’s success in the 2027 election.
