The Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has said that his administration will marshal support for President Bola Tinubu’s re‑election campaign in 2027, describing the state development projects as a pathway to massive votes.
Governor Aiyedatiwa who received leaders of the Ondo chapter of the City Boy Movement, a pro‑Tinubu group, on Saturday said his agenda — which he listed as road construction, health and education improvements, and youth employment programmes — would make it “easy to sell the Renewed Hope message in Ondo State.”
“Every action we take that impacts the people positively is a vote for the president,” the governor said, adding that the roughly 6,000 jobs his administration has created are tangible political capital.
“The President’s vision aligns with what we are doing here, and our people will reward that with their votes in 2027.”
A statement Saturday by Ebenezer Adeniyan, his chief press secretary said the City Boy Movement delegation was led by state coordinators Oluwafemi Ayejusunle and Tomide Akinribido.
Ayejusunle praised the Governor’s leadership and vowed intensified grassroots mobilisation to secure victory for President Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in next year’s election.
