President Bola Tinubu will today receive the All Progressives Congress’s (APC) certificate of return and the party flag formalizing his status as the party’s presidential candidate for the 2027 election.
Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to the President Bayo Onanuga in a statement said
the presentation will take place at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre following the nationwide collation of primary-election results by the party’s Presidential Primary Elections Committee.
Onanuga said the certificate and flag constitute the party’s official endorsement ahead of next year’s contest.
NewsQuest reports that attendees at the certificate presentation ceremony will include APC State Governors, members of the National Executive Committee and the National Working Committee of the APC, members of the National Assembly and senior party figures.
