Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas, has declared that Taraba State will deliver 100 per cent votes for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections.

The Governor made the declaration after a closed-door meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, saying the state is fully aligned with the President’s Renewed Hope agenda.

The Governor said Taraba residents had benefited from programs introduced by the administration and would reward the president with their votes.

“I’m also the leader of the party in my state, so I came to welcome the President home and also to condole with him over the incident of the crash of the Nigerian Air Force plane,” Kefas said, referring to a recent Nigerian Air Force aircraft crash in Ondo state.

He also extended condolences to the officers, service members and civilians affected by the incident.

Kefas said the administration’s interventions had strengthened public confidence in the president.

“You can see that I’m on the ground; we’re in charge,” he added.

“All the intervention, all the support from the president, the people are feeling it, from security to free education to the healthcare system to infrastructure”.

He added that residents believed the president was reaching them through the state government and had assured him of their support.

“For that reason, they are going to vote for Mr. President,” Kefas said, adding that “Taraba state is for APC 100 percent.”
